Join the marquee roof together and pull square. The middle of the roof needs to be baggy and the sides straight.
My ideal pegging pattern. I find that if the 4 corner pegs are put in first then you can use a rope to position the rest. I normally put the pegs at right angle to the roof half the height of the side pole away from the roof. The corner pegs will be further away from the roof.
Pegs should be angled away from the marquee as this makes them much stronger.
Each peg need a guy rope tying onto it.
Put all the side poles around the marquee within easy reach of the pegs and marquee roof.
When everything is in position I prop up one end of the marquee (the into wind end)
I start at one end of the marquee pushing up the first main pole. I find it better to push one pole up to 45 degrees. This will then rest on the corner side poles. I then the next pole taking that up to 45 degrees as well. I then go back to the last pole and putting up a little further until all main poles are upright. This method requires only one person and no main guys! (although it's quicker with two.
The finished marquee. Walls can be hung from a cord around the edge of the roof as required.
