We recently redecorated and revamped the Scullery into a great kitchen work space with everything close at hand. We relocated the marble topped console (great for making pastry!) from the kitchen. We also made space for the comfy stools at the counter so you can chat with friends and have a glass of wine (chef's prerogative..) whilst you cook.
We pride ourselves on providing the finest quality we can find and our soft and fluffy Egyptian cotton towels are no exception.
The elegant dining room can comfortably seat 20 people and is ideal for intimate dinner parties and family get togethers
Daisy, our family room is nestled at the top of the house which gives it real charm and character. Sleeping up to five people in a combination of doubles and singles it's the perfect room for a late night girly gossip!
Emily Bronte's poem says of the Bluebell " Its blossoms have the mightiest power to soothe my spirit's care." This is indeed the case. Our Bluebell room is tranquil and serene just what you need on a break away from it all.
Our Foxglove room is painted the same shade as the flower and it has a pretty wrought iron king size bed. There is a restful corner complete with a cosy and comfortable sofa for those moments when you just need five minutes to yourself........
Pheasant's Eye is a delightful twin room with antique wooden bedframes.
In April of 2013 we were proud to achieve a 4 Star Gold Quality in Tourism Rating by Visit England. The Gold Award is given in recognition of exceptional quality alongside achieving all of the required standards for the Star Rating.
Having decorated the Scullery we got carried away and continued into the kitchen. With the central island removed we had the space to replace it with a large circular table. This is now a great place to chat over a coffee, have a relaxing breakfast or gather before heading out to explore the local area for the day.
The kitchen is very well equipped with every pot, pan and utensil you could need, whether you are just making a sandwich or whipping up a three course meal!
We use toiletries handmade in England by Heyland & Whittle. Essential oils, herbs and spices are expertly combined to create their sulphate and paraben free range.
Each bedroom has a beautiful hand decorated, glass name plate.
Our original roll top Slipper Bath is an ideal place to luxuriate in lots of bubbles with a glass of wine after day in the countryside.
Our Meadowsweet room features a king size bed with views over the market place. Don't worry there's no noise to disturb you. The large and comfortable chair is just the place to enjoy a good book and a cup of tea.
