Green limewash has always been my DREAM!!! Rust-Oleum’s Limewash paint is incredible! I’m using the colour 503. So easy to work with and gives a seamless textured finish! It’s touch dry in 1 hour so makes it so much quicker to paint! It comes in a massive range of colours too! I also used the Matt interior wood paint in colour Sienna it needs no primer or top coat so perfect for a quick upcycle! I will definitely be using it again! Just make sure it’s clean before painting I used Krud Kutter as it gets rid of tough stains and grease! It’s available to shop at @bandq_uk in store and online at diy.com Hope you love

Mike Jones on Instagram: "Do not do this On plaster board walls as there is a different process. ** would you do this yourself or get a pro to do it?** HOWEVER This is a masonry wall so here is the step by step guide: 1. Rake/ dig out the crack. I used the precision scraper by @hamilton_decorating_tools 2. Remove the dust. The @flex_tools_uk cordless extractor does a great job of this 3. The one and only @zinsseruk peel stop seals the edges and surface 4. THE SECRET! 🤫 fill flex from @toupretuk but make sure you don’t go too heavy here and let it dry fully! 5. Quick dry wall filler from @toupretuk applied with the @woosterbrushuk flexi filling knife out of the @axusdecor flexi bowl 6. Once sanded I used @crownpaintsuk clean extreme Matt paint to finish it off All these ite

Lisa Mistry | Interior & Living on Instagram: "ad These are my essential tips on how to paint with a darker lime wash colour. I’ve teamed up with @bauwerkcolour to show you how to maintain that texture & ensure those cloud lines look more blended. The key really is less blending for less lines. My tips explained in more detail below but also to remember the walls don’t have to look perfect it’s all about varying texture and the imperfections too 🥰 0. You will need to prep your wall with @bauwerkcolour prep coat first, and get that wall as perfect as possible. If you’ve patched up the wall before you will need to use Crown Covermatt primer before the prep coat 🤍 1. Guys please mix the paint properly from the beginning there should be no clay like pigment remaining at the bottom of the pa

Jodie Smith on Instagram: "• W a l l P a n e l l i n g • Edwardian Dado Rail (66mm height x 18mm depth) Gemini Mouldings (35mm height x 18mm depth) Both from @skirting4u *gifted Begin by working out the height you want your dado rail to sit, we opted for 90cm (from the floor to the bottom edge of the dado) and our ceiling height is 2.4m. Then use a level to ensure the dado rails sits level around the room. We are using the @hilti 30MG laser level here. Next, cut your dado to length and scribe any internal corners, before using adhesive to stick and then pin it to the wall. Once your dado is secure, divide each wall into panels and cut the Gemini mouldings to the specific lengths. We pre-made each panel, before attaching them to the wall, to ensure each frame is perfectly square.
