I like the fact this portrait is of the same person and same facial expressions but many different angles are shown. The artist has pieced together fragments of the same person into one picture. I would like to link this style into my art by piecing together fragments.

I love this image because i love the way it portrays the family within one image. The merging of these people has been done very well and I love the technique used this style is something i would love to use. I want to show fragments of family and people growing up in my art.

Ursus Wehrli has produced 2 books in which he takes ordinary scenes to pieces and puts them back together again in a more ordered or organised way. He creates order out of disorder.

Ed Fairburn, "Deutschland," ink on a 1977 road map of Germany. The work I produce is largely figurative, and through the exploration of the human form I examine the patterns and structures which exist across the body. Emphasis is placed on the ‘fragmented’ texture of the skin, a process which has encouraged my work to evolve from its occupation of plain paper to the potential occupation of other, pre-fragmented or pre-patterned surfaces.
