Petal Perfume. Select a flower with a scent that you like. Pull off all the petals, placing them in a glass jar. Pour on some just-boiled water and leave the petals to steep for a few hours and until the water takes the scent. Strain off the water to use as your perfume and discard the petals.

We named and talked about the different fruits and vegetables, and wondered if they looked the same inside. We then opened them up - the children loved scooping out the seeds and then chopping the fruit and vegetables up! Lots of opportunity to develop language and KUW.
