This is an old Lucy Rie recipe we tested some time back to use as a base glaze for adding stain powders to. It's very flat, bordering on being chalky, but without the dryness of similar glazes we’ve tested. The finish is very, very beautiful - as you would expect from Rie of course. The tests in the pic have all had varying amounts of stain powders added to them to give the grey colour, and the corners are double dipped to give a sense of a thicker application.
