Orange Cascade - Theme weddings are deep set into the mainstream now and the accompanying cake has to reflect the theme. In some cases, it is difficult to incorporate but here, the trusting father of the bride just said orange is the theme. Mary's and Peter's engagement cake has a cascade of orange flowers to adorn the ganache encased chocolate delicacy.

Gulab - Twinkle and Shalini have been friends for as long as I remember. A friendship fevicoled in mutual respect and spontaneous outbreaks of irrepressible laughter. Unveiling of the label – ‘ Shalini James’ from Mantra was held at her store in Lulu Mall – a gathering of close friends celebrating the next step in a glowing career. The cake was commissioned by my sis Twinkle to surprise her friend. I chose the Indian ‘Gulab’ to compliment the Indian themed line from ‘Shalini James'.

Wedding Roses Pink roses and Ivory (the color) were the theme for Reenu’s brothers wedding. She wanted edible elegance in three tiers for the occasion. The huge roses were a tad difficult and time consuming but worth all the effort that went into it.

A Kuttanadan slice of life- Kainady, a place that best describes the beautiful backwaters of Kuttanad @ #GodsOwnCountry is abundant with opaline waters, a trillion shades of green bedecking the thick flora and shiny happy people all around. The ruffles at the bottom tier pays tribute to the rippling backwaters and the ten inch high top tier is hand painted in stain glass effect. White lotus was the decorative theme of the venue.
