Wedding save the date tip!
Don't send your wedding save the date cards too early. Anything up to two years before the big day is ideal. More than that and it's a bit too soon. In the UK, I advise aiming for between 12 and 18 months ahead of your wedding. For more wedding stationery mistakes to avoid, read my blog.
When do you send save the date cards?
Save the date! Sending save the date cards between 12 & 18 months in advance is the norm for the UK, but any time up to 2 years ahead is fine too. As soon as you have your date and venue secured, you are good to go. Get that date in your nearest and dearest's calendars, and make sure they don't get double booked.
