Hand-painted folk art pine cabinet
A delightful little wall cabinet, lovingly handcrafted from reclaimed pine, then hand-painted using chalk paint, and sealed with multiple coats of light and dark wax. Inspired by the Pennsylvania Dutch folk art style, we used a traditional unicorn and flower motif for this unit. Each of our one-of-a-kind creations is numbered and signed by us, the artists of Gorse & Broom. This is the fifth cabinet (No. 5) made in our Norfolk workshop. Our smallest cabinet (so far), it's sturdy and functional, with a whimsical charm. We sourced the pine from a dilapidated old wardrobe destined for the tip and gave it a new lease of life.
