This is my setup when working with p5.js. Using the Mac app Sizeup Sublime on the left and Chrome on the right with the console open. In the background I'm running Live Reload which auto reloads the sketch I'm working each time I save. Works really great.

I think the thing I like the most with creating the work I do is trying to create systems or environments for people to play within. All I try and do is create a series of constraints and then and hand that over to people to see what can be created. I'm also a big fan of physical controls. They invite interaction much more than a flat piece of glass but it also depends on the audience and the context of the environment these things are being placed within.
