Philip's family have always been in food businesses, from restaurants to retail shops, restaurants again and now as a producer. His experience in kitchens and in the retail sector provides a good understanding of what customers are looking for in Oriental products.

Bonnie began her food career steering her grandmother's boat in Vietnam whilst she sold food to the boat people. Later on, after spending time working part-time in takeaways in the UK, she decided to open her own and was able to build on her cooking experience, before creating her own recipes, spurred on by her desire to cook with natural ingredients.

Founded in 2012 as a family business, Yau's has grown from producing sauces in the home kitchen to full scale production
