We worked with the original barns materials; corrugated iron, timber and stone for conversion, whilst the new extension was clad in zinc to differentiate. Priority was to keep the qualities that defines barns; keeping the large open spaces such as the huge ground floor rooms; the original rusty old steel column partitions; the curved roof; all create a beautiful conversion.
