Kaleidos Kids FDC

This is my FDC. My thoughts. My spaces. I have a corner which I set up as a small world play area or just a provocative interest corner, this changes each month with the seasons, celebrations and the children's interests. My play areas, both inside and out, are constantly changing as I rotate equipment, make improvements, or try out new ideas. Here also are projects and plans in progress. Kaleidos Kids. Celebrating and nurturing the essence of children

KALEIDOS (pronounced kuh-lahy-dohs) comes from the ancient Greek words, kalos meaning beautiful, good or worthy and eidos meaning to see a form or essence.

Inspired by my fascination with kaleidoscopes I believe that children are like kaleidoscopes (beautiful forms), with everyday activities reflecting their beauty and individuality, making the ordinary, extraordinary.
