In my own practice there are various themes underpinning the creative process, absence, transience, light, sculpture, transcendence, being. All these themes bring about a sense of the spiritual and desire to define it within my work.

Thoughts on light.
In the process of bringing some stuff in from the studio as it's starting to get too cold/damp (even with a heater) to really work in there at this time of year. This is something that I've been working on for quite some time and very often not sure about it. I love it when you put a piece of work into a new or different space and the light touches it, in a way that light will never touch it again. . . .
