In the morning, I usually start with a shower, where I’ll cleanse my face and body. I’ve been using the Susanne Kaufmann Purifying Cleansing Gel* (gifted), which is well balanced and not too harsh on my sensitive skin. I only need one small pump to wash my face and neck, meaning this bottle will last me for a good few months. Next I wash my body with a combination of Neal’s Yard Remedies Shower Gel* (gifted) and for my back and shoulders, Beauty Kin’s Clarifying Body Bar...
Finally, a quick peek in at the bathroom. I really love this room, almost as much as the kitchen. The large bath, rainfall shower, and clever storage spaces make this room the perfect blend of cottage chic with contemporary touches. It also makes me feel a little extra pampered whenever I do my skincare routine, including new items from Dr Hauschka (gifted), which has become a real favourite brand of mine this year. The cleansing milk and shower cream are particular favourites!

Decorating our home has become one of my favourite past-times. When it comes to soft furnishings, I’m always looking for natural fibres and ethically-made items. It’s how I discovered Linen Tales, a luxury linen home and clothing brand using sustainably-sourced linen. In the run up to the holidays, I wanted to share with you how I’m making our home cosier using one of nature’s hardiest and most sustainable materials, as well as showcase a few beautiful designs from Linen Tales.
This Olive Wood French Bread Platter not only embodies that same appreciation for olives, it also combines it with my other love of France and French culture. There’s not much I’ll wake up early for on a weekend, but fresh baguette is one, so this bread platter will be put to good use. Handmade from olive wood, each platter has a unique character and can also be used to serve tapas or nibbles. It’s beautifully crafted and of course, made in Portugal.
Sticking with olive wood, I’ve also added a beautiful Olive Wood Fruit Bowl as a permanent fixture on my dining table. (I’ve got to admit, I was using a mixing bowl as a fruit bowl prior to this.) This bowl brings back memories of Lisbon. There, I spotted citrus fruit trees lining the streets. It also adds a natural pop of colour to my home, just like the tiles did across the city. I dream of a day when I can move to a country warm enough to grow citrus trees of my own...

If you love herbal tea, this is for you. I love tea, and the slow ritual that it brings. I don’t mind if it’s a two-minute brew to start the day, or a gentle chamomile before bed. I love tea all the same. This Olive Wood Honey Dipper is the perfect addition to any tea lover’s toolkit. I can now do so in style, and evoke memories of the very beautiful tea shop I stumbled across in Lisbon last year.
This kitchen is my favourite room in the whole house! With wooden counter tops, a floor-to-ceiling pantry, and a gas stove, my inner chef is SO happy here! For the kitchen, we brought our Prestige Eco Pots & Pans, as well as our vintage Dualit toaster we found on the roadside while living in London. Finally, perhaps the most useful pick of the lot! When I’m not being a digital nomad, I like to work from my home study, complete with eco-friendly tech. Onto our bedroom... On the wall, I’ve hung my Matisse print (gifted by a good friend a few years ago) and placed our small TV at the foot of the bed. The monstera is a gift from another friend, a plant I love for its big expressive leaves. But my favourite thing about the room has to be the soft furnishings.

My new bedding from Panda London has absolutely upgraded our bedroom! Not only do we have a more beautiful bed, it’s also softer, silkier, and cosier than before. I feel like this bedding is a healthier choice for me, especially during hay fever season, and it’s great to know it’s made sustainably too. I have to say I am absolutely in love with The Cloud Duvet. This may actually be my favourite product out of the lot – it feels highly luxurious, and very similar to a duck-down duvet, without the cruelty. It’s light enough to easily make the bed – even in the king size – but padded and heavy enough to feel cosy in as soon as you get into bed.
Sleep is one of my favourite pastimes. Is there anything better than snuggling up under the covers after a long day? It’s why I care a lot about investing in the right bedding.
