What have you been most grateful for this year so far? I actually can't believe it's November already! Where did the year go? It's the month of Thanksgiving for many and there are certainly many things I am grateful for. One is the people that have helped me stay on task and on track even though illness and characters that won't do as they're told have thwarted my schedule lol But of course there are many other things that I look back on and am thankful for; my family and friends my writing m
What was the book that made you a reader? Obviously we first read to learn words and language but there is usually one book or series that commits us to devoting our time in imaginary fictional worlds. I was recently thinking about which book made me a writer--or I should say inspired me to be a writer. And I think that has to be Dragon Bound by Thea Harrison. It was the first PNR read that made me fall in love stern unreasonable overly-possessive heroes and sneaky smart light-fingered heroines
How many signed paperbacks do you have? Are signed books important to you or would you rather have swag? I have about 10 signed books that I treasure (i.e. guard with my life lol) but there are at least five more authors who I'd liked to get signed copies from. How big is your collection? . . . . . . . #darkromance #fantasyromance #indieauthors #omegaverse #bookworm #booklover #bookaddict #ilovereadingbooks #authorsofinstagram #paperback #signedbooks #totalbooknerd #bookgeek #bookish #romancea
Happy Halloween! What's your favorite kind of horror? Are you a "blunt force gory mess chase 'em down monsters and creatures" type? or a "mind fk twists and turns jump out my skin psychological am I going crazy" type? I enjoy a mix of the two. I got thinking about this when a Halo posted in my FB group about the kind the hero she likes--she prefers manipulative cunning heroes like Malloron in Reign To Ruin rather than barbarian heroes like Drocco or Kardos. The different heroes obviously resu
Halloween is almost here! (I can't believe it's nearly the end of Oct. Where did the year go?) Do you have any reading plans for this holiday? I'm working like crazy on new work right now but if I had time probably be searching out some horror reads to delve into. I really enjoyed Break Her by BG Harlen recently and I added Stephen King's new release The Institue to my TBR pile (don't know when I'm gonna read it!). Horror isn't a genre I read regularly but I love when I find some good ones. :D
"Look at me" he demanded. . "Why?" Cailyn asked bitterly. . "I want your eyes on me" he said. "Your brown eyes." . Cailyn frowned returning her gaze to his. What did he mean by that? She opened her awareness to him. He watched her closely almost studying her with a tinge of something she didnt recognize in his eyes. His purr was strong and mellow but it was not like any of the other versions that she had come to recognize from when she was in the Palace. It had an edge to it that she wasn't fami
What's the weirdest thing you've used as a bookmark? My list: an eraser shoelace pen screwdriver my finger crisp packets (chips for my US friends!) dried leaf glasses paperclip another book and the T remote Since I got my ereader I don't really read as many paperbacks as I used to but luckily now that I have these babies I can throw them into as many books as I want and not look like a crazy person lol (These are only available with signed paperbacks so keep an eye out for giveaways ) . . .

What's your favorite thing about a fantasy romance world? For me it has to be the magic (I feel like there was never enough magic in Fantasy books/movies when I was growing up. I blame LoTR!) and the politics that arise from it. In particular how that affects the relationship of the couple. I've been doing some researching and brainstorming as I revisit the world of my next series and the magic system has been a lot of fun to figure out. Thankfully with all these ideas trials and experiments I
Are you a series reader or a standalone reader? And why? I tend to read series books more than standalones because the genres I prefer lean toward series--and if I enjoy a fictional world and its characters then I love spending more time there. But some of my all-time favorite books have also been standalones so I suppose I don't have a major preference either way. My dark Fantasy Romance series Myth of Omega spans three different parts of one world the Eastern (Crave) Western (Reign) and Sout
