KARA-ZOD: STRANGER IN A DIVIDED WORLD.
She had seen injustice before—Kryptonian law was not without its flaws—but nothing like this. On Krypton, differences were marked by intellect, station, and duty. Here, on Earth, skin-defined struggle and the weight of history pressed down on people in ways she couldn’t fathom. Kara-Zod had descended from the skies to stop a carjacking, expecting gratitude. Instead, the trembling store owner pointed a shaking hand not at the fleeing criminals, but at her. The fear in his eyes wasn’t awe—it was something uglier, something instinctual. “You people ...” cut sharper than any blade. As if her skin colour had already decided her place in their world. She could lift mountains, bend steel with her fingertips, but here she was being reduced to someone less.
The Boy Wonder
The night over Gotham simmered with unease, its endless sprawl of alleys and rooftops hiding more secrets than the stars above. Robin crouched silently atop a crumbling gargoyle overlooking the waterfront docks, his sharp gaze tracking the slow, deliberate movements of the smuggling operation below. A shipment of military-grade weapons was being unloaded—a deadly arsenal that would tip Gotham’s fragile balance into chaos if it landed in the wrong hands. With a flick of his wrist, Robin sent a drone spiralling into the shadows, its feed displaying a thermal map of the warehouse. The glowing figures within confirmed what he’d suspected: the notorious Black Mask was running this operation, and he wasn’t alone. “Need backup?” Batman’s voice was calm, a shadow of reassurance. "I got this."
Recasting Black Panther
The rumours that Marvel Studios' is contemplating recasting T'Challa in the MCU - if true is a decision I wholeheartedly support. The late Chadwick Boseman's portrayal was iconic, but the character's journey need not end there. Introducing a new actor allows for the exploration of T'Challa's untapped facets, such as his strategic brilliance and political acumen. In my view, Aldis Hodge, known for his compelling performances and physical presence, embodies the gravitas required for this role. His recent portrayal of Alex Cross in the Prime Video series "Cross" showcases his depth and versatility, making him a fitting choice to carry forward the legacy of the Black Panther. I hope he considers the role. Marksman @antonmarks

STEEL
The skyline of Metropolis blazed with the last hues of the setting sun, its beauty fractured by the chaotic scene unfolding at the Hyperion Tower. High above the city, Steel hovered, his armor gleaming like a second sun. The alerts from his HUD painted a grim picture: the crane was seconds from collapse, its supports twisted beyond recognition. Below, a handful of workers clung to precarious footholds, their figures outlined against the churning void of the skyline. Steel moved, the thrusters on his boots igniting with a controlled roar, carrying him toward the unstable structure. The crane groaned, a tortured symphony of failing metal, as he landed on a beam. The platform shuddered beneath the impact of his weight, but Steel didn’t falter. His hammer was already in hand.
