Best Seller Selvedge Jeans Pattern
I sell more jeans patterns than any other pattern! This is of course because all my other patterns are designed for women and are much more likely to be acquired through my membership program. Membership gets better and better value as I increase the patterns available. I am thrilled that so many men enjoy sewing and that they take the time to give me such positive feedback on this pattern. I researched and tested this garment thoroughly before publishing it and I am encouraged that it has been so popular. The Sew Along is always available if you are a beginner and would like to try making up this very classic pattern.

Beautiful Remnant now a Lovely Shirt!
I bought this fabric way back! I have always been a big fan of John Kaldor designs and I think this is one of his best. The unusual colour made it difficult to find a use for it. Also it is quite a difficult fabric to work with, maybe a little too sheer for a garment without a lining. It goes so well with my recent make of the palazzo pants so I had to get something made. I was tempted to just make a beautifully edged large square scarf - see my video how to sew a beautiful edge on silk, on my website - but in the end I decided on the shirt. It had to be a pattern that would fit on the yardage though - I'm very happy with the result!
