Cheat your way to a five-star Christmas dinner
Perfect roast potatoes. This is a great Christmas lunch time-saver! On Christmas eve, peel and parboil the potatoes as normal (making sure you shake the colander when you drain your potatoes to fluff up those edges) and then roast at 220C for 20-30 minutes. Then cool and keep in the fridge overnight. On the big day, simply reheat the potatoes in a hot oven for 20-30 minutes. Find out more ways to get party ready by clicking below.

Clay recipe (just corn starch, baking soda, and water) for making ornaments - can bake them in the oven or allow to air dry.Better than salt dough? 1/2 cup cornstarch, 1 cup baking soda, 3/4 cup water. Bake at 175 for about an hour. Great idea for modern, matte, textural white Christmas ornaments. Use rubberstamps to make impression designs. – via The Woodside Kitchen
