Handmade black and white ceramic Dutch house wall light
Working with and sculpting clay I am able to transform my drawings and ideas into unique black and white illustrated ceramic pieces. Because my work is handmade by me, it may be a little wonky with tiny blemishes. Once I have moulded and shaped the clay, I pop it into my kiln for a bisque firing. This basicly turns it from clay to ceramic. Next I bring the piece to life, by hand painting on the details in black ceramic paint. Once painted I hand dip it in transparent dipping glaze, and then glaze fire it in my kiln. Each piece is stamped on the base with my logo. *This wall light is NOT SOLD with the tealight candle inside, shown in the photos.
