Green Shield stamps. My mum bought these in the early 70s, to 'save up' to buy things for our home. I remember seeing books and books of them.

Noddy is a character created by English children's author Enid Blyton, originally published between 1949 and 1963. Television shows based on the character have run on British television since 1955 and continue to appear to this day. Noddy is a little wooden boy who lives in his own little House-for-One in Toyland and has many "special" friends. Ahh, another childhood memory!

Andy Pandy, Teddy and Loobie lou, first aired on British TV in 1950. My brother was frightened of Loobie Lou for some reason and would hide behind the sofa when she came on the tv. I still tease him about it haha!

TV Guide: May 12, 1956 - Bernadette O'Farrell and Richard Greene of "Robin Hood"
