Maps illustrations by Ed Fairburn -- stunning. Maybe I need a Maps pin board.
Draw the outline of a single image, icon, logo or object that represents a memory and then use the abstracted new drawing as the basis for pastel, painting, etc.
Draw several images within a specific shape (could be another image representing memory or future events) and then overlap the images within the shape. Final image can be drawn, painted, collage or any material available in the art room
Another example of student work - painting of the Olypant anchor...find a place or object (logo or image) that represents a memory or aspect of your future
Take a photo of a significant place or object and draw or paint a single image to convey the symbolism of your past or your future
detail image of the symbols used in paper weaving to explore student's personality...can also be used to convey concepts of Looking Forward to the future and looking back at the past four years!
