I couldn't resist showing you Ballymaloe House in East Cork home this weekend to the wonderful Kerrygold Litfest which is Ireland's only festival dedicated to food writing. Renowned chefs like Francis Mallman and Yotom Ottolenghi are some of the many speakers and you can sample some of Ireland's finest food and drink. It's a magical festival. by @jack_caffrey your #BBClocalite for #Dublin #Ireland #litfest16 by bbc_travel

Photo by @argonautphoto (Aaron Huey). Traveling by #Mokoro or dugout canoes around the #OkavangoDelta. We travel with the help of guides who "pole" us through shallow water and weeds to see elephants birds and other wildlife (sometimes MUCH too close for comfort). We were rushing to get out of the channels before the Hippos came out for the night! Check out more photos from my Botswana shoot all this week at @argonautphoto. by natgeo

Aggregations of Caribbean reef sharks are highly vulnerable to being fished out; a single longline could decimate an entire population. There are still about 300 species of shark in the world's oceans but at least 250 000 sharks are killed every day(!) for the finning- and shark liver oil industry etc. Many species are now on…
